- 4 oz. cream cheese
- ½ cup butter (pieces)
- 1 ½ cup icing sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cream cheese extract
1. Place the cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Use the rubber spatula to soften the cream cheese. Gradually add the butter, and continue beating until smooth and well blended.
2. Sift in the icing sugar and beat until smooth. Add vanilla and stir to combine.
(If preferred, for a more natural approach, you can leave out the cream cheese extract, as it
really does not affect the taste)
