Vanilla Caramels

INGREDIENTS:

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ can condensed milk
  • ½ tbsp butter
  • ¼ tsp vanilla

DIRECTIONS:

1. Place butter in a heavy saucepan and melt over low heat. Cook, brushing sides of pan occasionlly until melted and colour of maple.

2) Whisk in condensed milk and butter, cook over low heat about 15 mins. Whisking constantly until mix forms softball

3) Remove from heat add vanilla. Put on tray and let cool.
