1/2 c butter 1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c corn syrup 9 c puffed wheat
1 c brown sugar 2 tbsp cocoa
In large pot, melt butter on medium heat and then add corn syrup, brown sugar, and cocoa and mix well. Increase heat slightly and once mixture starts to boil, let boil for only 30 seconds. Turn heat off and add the vanilla, then puffed wheat. Mix well to coat puffed wheat. Press into buttered 9 x 13” pan. Once cooled, cut into squares.
