Double Chocolate Brownies


  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup canola oil


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl – sugar, flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips with the dry ingredients to coat them in the powder.
  4. Add in eggs, vanilla, and oil and stir until combined.
  5. Spread batter into a greased 8×8 pan.
  6. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until just an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
